Malta: MESC 2024 starts on January 29!
Malta was the first country to commence its national final, presenting their songs, already from October. Now it’s time for the island country to select its representative for Eurovision Song Contest 2024!
A few minutes ago TVM, the public broadcaster of Malta, announced through their social media, that in 21 days, on Monday 29 January, the so called “MESC 2024 Week” will start:

The twelve finalists of the National Final, are the following:
- Miriana Conte – “Venom”
- Sarah Bonnici – “Loop”
- Greta Tude – “Topic (Bla Bla)”
- Janvil – “MAN”
- Haley Azzopardi – “Tell Me That It’s Over”
- Ryan Hili – “Karma”
- Erba – “Sirena”
- Nathan – “Ghost”
- Denise – “Mara”
- Matt Blxck – “Banana”
- Gail – “Wild Card”
- Lisa Gauci – “Breathe
As we’ve already informed you, the Final will take place with live-on-tape performances that were recorded in December, and the result will be determined by jury and public vote.
This year Malta was represneted in Liverpool by the The Busker and the song “Dance (Our Own Party)” who didn’t manage to qualify as the ended up 15th and last in the first semi-final with only 3 points.
