Cyprus: CYBC is ready to announce its artist for Eurovision 2021 | EXCLUSIVE!
In its favorite month in November, CYBC seems to be very close to the announcement of its representative in Eurovision 2021.
A female singer in Eurovision 2021
After the confirmation in June that Sandro will not represent Cyprus in the next contest and that CYBC will look for a new artist, a lot was written, many rumors were circulated (with some of them being valid and some not), but with the Cypriot public broadcaster to remain silent, working methodically for the best possible entry in Eurovision 2021.
According to our reliable information and as you first read through Eurovision Fun, there are advanced discussions with an artist, from PANIK Records, in order to lift the weight of the representation of Cyprus in May in Rotterdam.
Although her name has been heard in the past among those who could represent either Cyprus or Greece in Eurovision, she was not one of the names that were widely rumored recently, to claim the ticket of Aphordite’s island in Eurovision 2021.
She is a fresh face of the music industry and is one of the youngest rising singers of the pop scene and without a doubt she can stand worthy on the stage of Eurovision, since apart from a very good voice she also has an impressive presence.
Most likely, at the meeting of the Board of Directors of CYBC tonight, there will be approval, so that very soon we have the official announcements.
What about the song?
RIK has also come up with the song, managing to have as composer of this year’s entry, a really very big name that will cause a sensation in its announcement.
Once again, the CYBC team that deals with the contest, proves its dedication and love to the Eurovision project, hoping that in Eurovision 2021, the participation of Cyprus will cause a sensation and will leave the best impressions!
We remind you that CYBC has already announced as artistic director of its participation in Eurovision 2021, the Austrian, Marvin Dietmann, who was responsible for the stage presentation of both the winning song of Austria in Eurovision 2014 with Conchita Wurst, but also the winning entry in the juries voting, of Austria in Eurovision 2018 with Cesár Sampson.
Respecting that the collaboration has not been formally completed yet, but also the fact that CYBC has not officially announced anything, we will not publish the name of the artist or the composer, wishing at the same time good luck in Cyprus!
Stay tuned to Eurovision Fun for all the developments regarding the Cypriot participation in Eurovision 2021!
