Today, the music video of the Croatian group Let 3, that will represent the country in this year’s Eurovision, was released. With the song “Mama ŠČ”, Let 3 will compete at Liverpool after winning the Croatian National final Dora 2023.

Speaking to HRT, they confirmed that “Mama ŠČ!” will remain in Croatian. DamirMartinovic explained that:
Our language is the most beautiful for singing songs like this. I really love words with a lot of “Š”, with a lot of “Č”, like the word “razbuljoviždiriš” or “ti crna, ti krvava čađo”. These are beautiful words. When you translate it, then it loses its meaning.That is why I enjoy our language and I am very pleased that we will sing in Croatian. It’s a beautiful language for singing. Although many say that English is the most beautiful.
Croatia’s representatives will appear in the first half of the first semi-final on May 9th .

Croatian Dora 2023 achieved their highest audience figures in years (42%). Dora 2023 got 46000 more viewers than last year’s edition. These are the highest audience figures for the Croatian national final in four years.
According to HRT public figures, the Grand Final of Dora received its highest audience results since 2019. During the broadcasting of Dora, people used the hashtag #Dora2023. The hashtag had a potential impact of 4.600.000 users.
In addition to this, the audience figures show that the peakest moments of the show were the moment in which Let 3 performed their winning song “Mama ŠČ!” and the moment when Let 3 won Dora 2023.
Dora 2023 will represent Croatia in Liverpool. Their national final performance has accumulated in a couple of days near one million views in the official Eurovision channel and almost 3 million viewers in Dora’s official YouTube channel
Last Saturday, the national final of Croatia, Dora 2023, concluded for another year, in which Let 3 won both the televote and the jury vote! So the next representative of the country for Eurovision 2023 will be Let 3 with the song “Mama Šč!“.

The time has come for the selection of the Croatian participation in Eurovision 2023.The grand finale of Dora 2023 takes place tonight and in a few hours we will know another song that will appear on the stage of Liverpool Arena in May in Liverpool.
Live from the city of Opatija, Dora 2023 takes place tonight, the process through which Croatia chooses its song in the upcoming Eurovision Song Contest.
Artists
Eighteen songs will compete tonight in Opatija, with one goal: the ticket to Liverpool and the 67th Eurovision Song Contest.
Top of the Pops feat. Mario 5reković – “Putovanje”
The final result will be judged by the jury votes (50%) and by the preference of the Croatian public (50%).
Presenters of Dora 2022 will be Duško Ćurlić, Mario Lipovšek Battifiaca and Marko Tolja.

Croatian broadcaster HRT has announced the hosts of the Croatian national final for Eurovision, Dora.
For the 2023 edition of Dora we will have three big names in the Croatian entertainment industry hosting for us. Duško Ćurlić, Mario Lipovšek Battifiaca and Marko Tolja will host the Croatian selection for the Eurovision Song Contest 2023 on February 11.
Duško Ćurlić has been the Croatian Eurovision commentator for HRT for the past 17 years.
Marko Tolja himself has tried to represent Croatia at Eurovision in 2007 and 2009, his best result was 12th in the final of Dora in 2007.
Dora 2023
The following acts are competing to represent Croatia for the Eurovision Song Contest 2023:
Top of the Pops ft. Mario 5reković – “Putovanje” (Journey)
Mia Dimšić represented Croatia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2022 with the song “Guilty Pleasure”. She performed in the First Semi-final but did not make it to the Grand Final.
Today is the day that Croatia will publish the songs that are competing in Dora 2023. The publication of the songs took place at the radio programm The World of Discography and then uploaded on the official YouTube channel of Dora.

From Saturday January14th and for four weeks, the show Ususret Dori 2023 with Mija Negovetić will be broadcasted , during which this year’s finalists will present themselves, sing and answer questions from the audience.
Guests on the first show will be Detour, Tajana Belina, The Splitters, Patricia Gašparini and Harmonija dissonance .
The final of Dora 2023 will take place on Saturday, February 11, with the voting process not showing any changes. The winner will be determined by both the jury and the television audience with a percentage of 50% each.
Last year, Mia Dimšić with the song “Guilty Pleasure” won the national final, but didn’t manage to qualify to the Grand Final of Eurovision 2022.

According to the producer of the Croatian national final, Tomislav Štengl , the nominated songs of Dora 2023 will be heard for the first time through the radio show The World of Discography and Zlatko Turkalj, on January 12th .
Then all the videos that Croatian TV received from the creators will be released through Dora‘s YouTube channel.
